The ticket costs 7,60 euro and it takes 90 minutes to arrive to Rethymno by bus. A taxi from the airport to Iraklion bus station should cost about 7 euro and would be a 10 minute ride. Hania international airport Ioannis Daskalogiannis, at Akrotiri peninsula, is 72 km north west of Rethymno and 14 km northeast of the center of Hania. By bus, the ride to Hania bus station is about 20 minutes. Buses to Rethymno run every hour. The ticket costs 6,20 euro and it takes 60 minutes to arrive to Rethymno by bus. A taxi from the airport to Hania bus station should cost 20 euro and it would take 20 minutes to get to Hania. To Rethymno directly, about 80 euro and an one hour ride.
