Both the well – known spring “Nymph”, located in this area, and the valley constitute a very important living – area for a particular species of butterfly “Kallimorpha” the same species we can find at the Valley of butterflies in the village of Theologos . The village was named after a landowner “Salakos” who was a sovereign in this area.
