The only way to get to Thassos is coastal, via the Kavala or Keramoti ports. From Kavala, you may either take a ferry boat, or a flying dolphin. Travel times are 75 and 35 minutes respectively. In both, the destination is Limemas, the Thassos capital. From Keramoti, you may take a ferry boat to Limenas, which will last 35 minutes. The nearest airport is at Chrispoupoli, Kavala (KVA), which is 7 km away from Keramoti. You can go from the airport to Keramoti by taxi. Once you reach Limenas, follow the route towards Panagia and Potamia. You'll have a magnificent travelling experience on your way: the piny forests, fresh air and spectacular nature will fully reward you for your choice of Thassos and Scala of Potamia as your tourist destination. When you pass Panagia village, you'll come in view of the exquisite Potamia valley, which ends at the Golden Beach. Continuing on the same way and 1.5 mile after Potamia village you will reach Scala of Potamia.At the main road of Scala of Potamia turn left at the junction and you will see Ostria hotel immediately
