We are extremely easy to access from all directions. From Nyugati train station: If you arrive at Nyugati train station, you either take a 5-minute walk to Oktogon or hop on tram No 4 or 6 and go one stop to Oktogon. The hostel’s entrance is opposite the tram stop. Look for number 22. We are located between 'Maraton' sportswear store and 'Millenium' bookshop. You will find a small green Home-Made Hostel sign right above the bells as well as a bigger sign on the wall on the right when facing the main gate. Walk into the court yard through the entrance gate, walk 5 meters and then turn right. Walk up the stairs and then up the stairs again to the first floor and then turn right. Journey time: 5-10 minutes. Travel fare: you need to buy one single ticket which costs 320 HUF (1.2 EUR). From Keleti train station Three options 1 Metro (includes one transfer) 2 Metro and tram (includes one transfer) 3 Taxi 1 Metro Take metro line 2 (M2, red line) and go to Deak tér. Change for M1, go three stops and get off at Oktogon. When you have reached Oktogon, look for burger king. Do NOT hail a taxi. Price is 14-16 euro per transfer. From Déli train station: Two options: 1: Metro (includes one transfer) 2: Taxi 1: Metro: Take M2 to Deak square. From Airport, Terminal 1 Four options: 1: Bus and metro (includes two transfers) 2: Taxi 3: Airport shuttle bus 4: Airport shuttle train 1 Bus and metro: Take the bus number 200 to the underground terminal (Kobánya-Kispest).Take M3 (blue line) and go to Deák tér, where the three metro lines intersect. Change for M1 and travel three stops towards the direction of Mexikói út: now you are at Oktogon. WHEN YOU have reached Oktogon, look for burger king. Important notice: make sure that when you have come out of the airport, you buy your ticket either from a machine or on the bus when boarding. If you buy your ticket when boarding the bus, try to have some change in advance because the driver may not be able to give change. Journey time: 60-75 minutes. 2: Taxi: We can organize an airport pick-up for you for 16 euro per car. If you want a taxi to be arranged for you, please let us know at least two days in advance. 3: Airport shuttle bus: Once you have gone through the customs, look for 'Airport Minibus' signs. Sign up for the traveler list and pay at the customers’ desk. Travel fare is 2,990 HUF (10.5 euro) for one way and 4,990 HUF (17.8 euro) for return. For one person it is cheaper than taking the taxi. 4: Airport shuttle train: Airport shuttle trains are now in operation between Ferihegy 1 (Terminal 1) and Nyugati railway station. Trains stop in front of the terminal building. The train terminates at Nyugati main station. For directions from the station, please see Nyugati train station above. From Népliget bus station: Two options: 1: Metro (includes one transfer) 2: Taxi 1 Metro: International buses arrive at the Népliget bus station. Take M3 and take the train that goes to the direction of 'Újpest Városközpont'. Get off at Deák Tér. Change for M1 and go three stops towards the direction of Mexikói Út and get off at Oktogon.
