Engimyri Guesthouse is perfectly situated in the north of Iceland, right off highway number 1, only 34 km west of Akureyri.

It is located in the beautiful valley of Öxnadalur, which has several hiking trails for the adventurous in addition to Hraunsvatn and Þverbrekkuvatn, two lakes with abundance of fish, where you can try your luck free of charge.

On offer are six double and twin rooms, two of which have a private bathroom. All are equipped with comfortable beds, satellite TV, wash basins and towels, closets, a table and chairs.

Breakfast is served between 8 and 10, but can be served at a time convenient to our guests if requested.

Our Restaurant is open every day 12.00 - 21.00 and our dining room seats up to 60 people. We also offer coffee, cakes during the day. If that's not enough, you can always relax in the hot tub outside!
