We have gone to great lengths to restore the buildings and still maintain the character. There is a marvellous friendly atmosphere here with hostellers and staff. The hostel is open 24 hours a day all year round. Most tourist attractions are within walking distance - Trinity College, the National Art Gallery, Museums, etc. Across the road is the Bicycle Hire Shop and around the corner is the Central Bus Station and Train Station. The Airport Bus stops right outside our door! The hostel is open 24 hours a day all year round. There is a left-luggage facility (FREE) and safety deposit boxes are also available at a small charge. There is a nice cheerful T.V. Room for your leisure. The Breakfast Room overlooks a wonderful Japanese Garden in which you are also able to enjoy an outdoor picnic should you desire. Globetrotters consist of specially designed dormitories which can accommodate 6, 8, 10 or 12 people. All dormitories have en-suite showers and toilets - the showers are FREE!. The rooms have pine bunk beds which are custom designed for Globetrotters. All beds have a reading light and are really comfortable. The bed linen is professionally laundered daily. Continental quilts are also included which have been said to be cosy in Winter and refreshingly cool in Summertime.
