This homely English family-run B&B is situated in Brandeglio, a pretty little village about 25 miles north of Lucca sitting high above the ancient thermal spa town of Bagni di Lucca in the mountainous Garfagnana National Park. Outside, there is a sunny terrace with a table and chairs, ideal for al fresco dining or simply relaxing with a good book. There is also a lawned garden for sunbathing or enjoying a welcome cool drink under the shady trees, with a wonderful view across to the mountains. After a quiet and restful night, Louise and Adrian will serve you a generous continental breakfast and a bottomless coffee or tea pot in the dining room or maybe outside on the terrace. Children are welcome and we have a cot, highchair and fold-out beds available. Children up to 9 years can stay for free with reduced rates for older children. Well-behaved pets will be considered, but we do have 2 elderly cats. Smoking is only allowed outside the house, due to Italian law. Parking is in our own driveway and there is a secure garage for motorbikes, cycles and ski equipment. We can provide packed lunches and other meals on request, or guests can bring their own food and use our plates and cutlery. We strive to be as flexible as possible with guests’ requirements, such as early or late arrivals or departures, keys to rooms and main door, and providing laundry and car-lift services. We speak some Italian and have lots of information regarding where to go and what to see. Louise and Adrian hope to welcome you to their home very soon.
