Hostel Due Torri San Sisto
The hostel constitutes an optimal base for discovering not only the cultural and artistic richness of Bologna (the oldest university in the world, University of Bologna, founded in 1088; Piazza Maggiore; the two towers; The Basilica of Santo Stefano, San Domenica and obviously San Petronio; Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca; more than 40 kilometres of arcades), but also for visiting other Italian art cities such as Florence, Venice, Verona, Padua, Mantua, Parma, Ravenna, Ferrara, Modena and the Republic of San Marino.
The hostel is a welcoming place in particular for young people, families, school trips and sport organizations. On your arrival you will be welcomed by our staffs that fluently speak English, French and Spanish. The structure offers 113 beds prepared in rooms from 1 to 5 beds. Toilets and showers are in the corridor. Breakfast and linen are included in price. Towels are not included in price (these can be rented at the hostel).
We offer our guests: Free Wi-Fi connection, fridge, tourist brochures, fax service, laundry, pizza delivery service, luggage room, parking, various games (chess and cards), book-swapping, machines with hot and cold drinks, postal service, bus tickets. Shopping center in the surroundings and a basketball playground.
Possibility to use a chauffeur service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Sleeping bags are forbidden.
The Youth Hostel San Sisto-Due Torri in Bologna is part of the Hosteling International association of Hostels in Italy. Please note, if you are not a Member of Hosteling International you can purchase an international card for 2 euros at your arrival.
The hostel is open 24 hours a day.
Check-out: 10:00 a.m. (Rooms are closed from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for cleaning)
Check-in: after 02:00 p.m.
Breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30.
For young people of less than 18 years of age, you require the written permission of your parents.
According to the City Council resolution n. 174/2012 of 05/21/2012, from September 1st, 2012 the City of Bologna will introduce the city tax, applied to non-residents overnight staying, for a maximum of 5 consecutive nights. The tourism tax rate is Euro 0,50 per night per person. Under 14 are tax exempt.
