Il Pianigiano B and B

Certaldo is located between Firenze and Siena but it's very easy to get here even from many other locations.

By train:

- From Florence take a train to Siena and get off in Certaldo. You may have a connection in Empoli, check out the schedule
- From Siena catch a train to Florence and still get off in Certaldo (no other possible connections)
- From Pisa take a train to Empoli and then take the train that goes to Siena and still get off in Certaldo

If you want to walk from there, just turn left from the station along the one way main road. After approximately 1.5 km you'll find "Via Fonda". Turn left. This becomes "Via Piano di Sotto". We are on the left.

By car : From Florence: Take the freeway to Siena (From A1 exit at Firenze Certosa). Exit at Poggibonsi Nord and follow towards Certaldo. Once in Certaldo cross the town until you find a roundabout (there's a newsstand on the left just before it), then go left and enter Via Toscana. At the second roundabout go right, and after about a kilometer get into a narrow street that you will find on your left. You will cross an overpass, then turn left and you will find our B&B on the right after 100 metres. From Siena: Take the freeway to Florence. Exit at Poggibonsi Nord and follow towards Certaldo. Once in Certaldo cross the town until you find a roundabout (there's a newsstand on the left just before it), then go left and enter Via Toscana. You will cross an overpass, then turn left and you will find our B&B on the right after 100 metres. From Pisa: Take the freeway (S.G.C.) Florence-Pisa-Livorno towards Florence. Exit at Empoli Ovest and follow the directions for Siena. Past the sign "Certaldo" turn right, following the directions Gambassi, San Gimignano and go straight until you find the sign "Piano di Sotto". There turn left and go straight for some kilometers until you find the sign of our B&B on the right.
