The abbey San Pietro in Valle is situated in Umbria, inside the Natural Park of the Nera River, between the Marmore Waterfalls and Spoleto.It is immersed in a thick wood with a marvelous view over the valley.

Here ART and HISTORY blend together with unspoiled NATURE and SILENCE.
The profound renovation left unchanged the original charm of this splendid Benedictine abbey, with its characteristic features like floors in terracotta, huge stone walls, wooden ceilings, stone -barred vaults and gothic arches.

Browsing around the bedrooms we find some with fireplaces, others with shelves and cubby holes, others with built-in wardrobes, slits and lobbies. Also there is ample private parking under olive-trees, a panoramic garden, a reading room, TV room, bar, billiards, sauna, internet-point.

The breakfast is outside in the roman cloister during the warm season, or inside the refectory. The buffet provides the home jam from Chiara, home made fruit cakes, fresh bread from Arrone and fresh fruit from the farmers and friends.
