Starting from the 1900s, Alfonsa Brandani used to welcome guests that were writers, painters and theatrical lyric and prose actors.

The hotel is located in a quiet street at the end of the pedestrian zone in the city centre. It is within a comfortable walking distance from the main monumental areas, the University and the numerous well known restaurants of the city.

Art has its place in the Hotel de Prati; it can be found in the reception hall and in the breakfast room, in fact there is always a display of contemporary paintings and sculptures or of artistic photos.

Hotel de Prati is able to advise you on some itineraries where you can leave the car behind and explore the city on foot or by bicycle. Bicycles can be easily hired near the hotel.

Every room is different, with each one being dedicated to a painter from Ferrara or rather to an artistic style that is characteristic of this city.
