Isola delle Api is eco-friendly: solar panels supply hot water and electricity; the ancient stone walls provide thermal insulation and coolness even in hottest summer days. The living room (50 sq. meters), warm and pleasant in its simplicity, has terracotta floors, stone walls, fireplace, sofas and a large dining table, comfortable for 8 persons. Kitchen is fully equipped with oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, stove, pots, pans, plates, cups and anything else; a washing machine is available for guests. In summer, house expands outdoors, in the shade of the pergola. The garden is furnished with comfortable armchairs, seats and barbeque. Pool is 120 cm deep, 4 x 8 meters wide; it is safe for children from May to September; bathing in hot water (40°c) in Farma river at Petriolo is a must: you may also enjoy thermal treatments in the fitness center. In nearby villages of Pari (3 km) and Casal di Pari (1,5 km) you find restaurants, pizzeria and small shops, in Paganico (12 km) there are banks, shops, pharmacy and a big-enough shopping centre. “dolce far niente”, which means “doing nothing” is the most liked activity of our guests; someones, after relaxing by the pool, go and relax to the seaside, many choose cultural/historic/art tours, all of them enjoy the weather and the landscapes of Maremma.
