Hostel Villa Borgognoni is a beautiful nineteenth-century’s mansion set in a park with conifers and tall trees. The property is situated on the west hills of the town of Jesi, in a quiet location just 10 minutes walk from the historic centre. It consists of a solid body construction with a square base, topped by a tower that gives verticality to the structure and from which you can admire part of the birthplace of Federico II and the beautiful “Vallesina” (Jesi’s Valley). The interior ceilings of the villa are frescoed, a precious work attributed to the painter Samoggia. From several years the municipality of Jesi is the owner of Villa Borgognoni, and has always used it for social activities (nursery first, then music school). In 2000, thanks to the Jubilee’s funds it has completely restored and converted into a beautiful hostel. Since May 2007, the hostel is run by Zanzibar Social Cooperative who, realizing the cultural and social significance of this prestigious place, has made the hostel a hive of activity, a meeting point for exchange, hospitality, and a space for courses, seminars, summer camps, debates, concerts, exhibitions and parties. Enjoy the beautiful landscape and services such as: breakfast individuals and/or groups, full kitchen, towel service, holistic services such as aroma massage, crystals and yoga, free wi-fi, common rooms, TV in bedrooms and more! The hostel can accommodate up to 45 people, in 1-2-4-5-6-7 beds’ rooms, including 2 private (4/7 beds) ensuite. It also has shared kitchen and free wi-fi.
