Inaugurated in 2004 and located in the western part of Siena, 1000 meters far from the medieval walls which surround the city centre, San Marco Hotel is a three star modern structure realized by the best Italian designers in order to offer to everybody a series of innovative and original services.

The hotel serves breakfast, while in one of the many restaurants, taverns or inns typical of Siena you will enjoy traditional Italian cuisine and Siena. In every room there's a list of the best good value restaurants (chosen by the staff for personal knowledge) with opening hours, phone numbers, details and a map to spot them.

The hotel has 28 rooms; a spacious TV room and a bar open all day long. Our 28 rooms, all with ensuite bathroom (with shower) offer elements of last generation, as they are thermo and sound proof, and equipped with essential but functional furniture, to ensure a nice and relaxing stay; you'll also find hair-dryer, desk, satellite TV with pay-tv, air conditioning, safe box and mini bar in every room.

Two rooms are accessible to disabled guests.

At the reception, you will receive all the information regarding the shows, restaurants, museums and attractions not to be missed.

As car access is forbidden in the center of Siena , the Hotel is an excellent basis for those wishing to explore the city. You can also visit the Chianti region, the Val D'orcia, Val di Chiana (Montepulciano and Montalcino) and San Gimignano, which are located just half an hours from us.

You also have the opportunity of leaving your car in the parking and reaching the center by bus (the urban bus service for the Duomo is available every 15 minutes from 7:30 to 20:30) or you can get there walking (about 20 minutes) or by taxi.
