In the heart of Syracuse's historical centre lies island of Ortigia, selected by the Greeks as a location for founding the city. Here, in a characteristic and peaceful alley, just a few steps away from "Arethusa Fountain" and Piazza Duomo, in an XVIIth century palace is the Apart-Hotel Aretusa Vacanze, which was completely restructured in 2004. Aretusa Vacanze offers "studios for 2 people", "studios for 3 people" and mini-apartments (with two bedrooms) for 4 people. Both the studios and the mini-apartments are perfectly equipped with the most modern comforts: en-suite bathroom, linens, Sat TV, equipped kitchenette, refrigerators and air conditioning, elevator, telephone, wi-fi connection. The studios at the ground floor ("pt") are cheaper than the others. In the “studio for 2" at the ground floor ("Priv. Double Ensuite pt") the bed is on the mezzanine. From the terrace - where it is also possible to sunbathe - one may enjoy a lovely sea view and overlook the rooftops of Ortigia.
