Our houses, which date from the end of the nineteenth century, are old rustic-style buildings, which have been recently renovated, but still have all the original features. The baglio (a typically Sicilian building with a number of different dwellings e.g. the main house, stables, servants quarters, built round a courtyard) has a mother house and dependance renovated in 2003.
The Casale has other rooms and is a typicall Sicilian building and with one kitchen, one siiting room and five bedrooms with private bathroom at 100m distance from the baglio.
The mother house which is available to visitors has its own independent entrance for room, kitchen, sitting room and three bedrooms with private bathroom, which can sleep up to ten people.
The dependance has two bedrooms with independent entrance, two bedrooms and kitchen, which can sleep up to four people.
The houses have central heating for winter and air-conditioning for summer. Around the house is an Arab-style orchard, containing a rich variety of mature fruit trees. In front to the house the are two opened places to have breakfast and barbecue in the evening.
There is the internal car-park. Fresh farm produce can also be bought from neighbouring houses.
In the house you'll find a wide variety of information giving details of possible day trips.
The geographical location of Case Colomba makes it an ideal starting point for day trips to numerous places of interest in western Sicily.
