By Train
When you reach the Santa Lucia train station, leave the tracks behind you and head left towards the Ponte degli Scalzi; cross the bridge, turn right towards fondamenta di San Simeone. You're almost there - before the bridge, turn left towards the fondamenta dei Tolentini. Go past the University of Architecture and you'll come to the Ponte del Gafaro and Rio dei Tolentini. Our B&B is right here, in fondamenta del Gafaro.
By Car
Come to the Venice toll booth and follow the directions for the city. You'll reach the highway terminal of Piazzale Roma; leave your car in one of the common pay parking lots and head toward the nearby "Tre Ponti" area. Once you've passed it, stay straight and after a bit, you'll see our sign at the start of fondamenta del Gafaro; we'll be waiting for you inside a small courtyard on the right (travel time 2 minutes).
If you arrive in Venice by car, book a place in one of the municipal parking lots in Piazzale Rome, just a short walk from the B&B Casanova ai Tolentini; if you prefer to travel by plane or by train, contact us and we'll send you the arrival/departure times and organize your transfer to our hotel.
By Plane
The Venice "Marco Polo" airport is in Tessera, about 15 km away. To reach us, we suggest taking ACTV bus nr. 5 (leaves every 10 minutes) or the blue ATVO line and get off at the end of the line in Piazzale Rome; continue following the directions listed under "By Car." A water taxi service is also available that will bring you right to the entrance of the B&B (€80.00 circa) and there is also a taxi service for Piazzale Rome (about €35.00).

The B&B Casanova ai Tolentini is an elegant residence with every comfort located in the Fondamenta del Gafaro, facing the canal and the bridge of the same name; in a quiet area of Venice, not far from the splendid Chiesa dei Frari.
Our bed & breakfast rooms include classic room, junior suite and one suite overlooking the canal; the ambience is modern and well appointed, complete with air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi ADSL internet, flat screen satellite TV - Sky and pay per view programming, a fax service and newspapers: the bathrooms have a shower, courtesy kit and hairdryers.
A buffet breakfast is included in the price and is served outside the B&B at the "La rosa dei venti" restaurant. We also suggest you to try lunch or a romantic dinner at the Al Vecio Pozzo restaurant and try the specialties that Venetian cuisine has to offer. American-style breakfast by request only.

Prices are per person per night. Taxes and breakfast (where explicitly excluded) are included. Linen and towels will be changed every three nights, if required a charge of euro 7,00 per person will be charged for change before the three nights. Internet connection is free of charge, we may hire a lap top at euro 10,00 per day, no deposit required.
