Venice Garden

From "Santa Lucia" terminal railway station: - by foot: exit the station and turn left. Walk the main street for aprox 900 meters, until you reach the foot of a bridge named "Ponte delle Guglie". Right before the bridge, turn left and keep on walking, bordering the left hand side of the canal named "Canale di Cannaregio", until you meet the first little bridge to pass. Cross it and, after 20 meters on the same walk side, there is another little bridge. After it, the first street on the left is "Calle delle Canne". Take it and after 100 meters, right in front of you, you can see a building of 2 levels: on the right hand side of it you find the bell to ring. We are in the upper floor. - by water bus: outside the train station on the left there is a ticket office where you can get the ticket for the water bus no. 4.1. Take the water bus and get off at the second stop, that is named "Crea". Outside the stop turn right, and find the 2 little bridges as above. Pass them and find on the left the street "Calle Canna".The rest is as above. From the airports (both "Treviso" and Marco Polo"): take the shuttle bus going to Venice Terminal named "Piazzale Roma". From here, you have 2 chances: - 1: walk to the train station (500 meters away), and follow previous descriptions, or - 2: take the water bus 4.1(it is only 1 stop before the train station), and get off at "Crea" stop By car: parking in Venice is very very expensive, so our suggestion is to park in front of the train station of Mestre (it is only 6 - 7 euros per day), and catch the shuttle train to Venice: the transportation is only 10 mins, and costs € 1.20.
