La Terrazza dei Pelargoni

Leave the A10/E80 motorway at the Ventimiglia exit and follow the indications for Ventimiglia for about 1.8 km, while keeping the Roya river to your right. Near the round-about you keep to the right and you cross the bridge over the Roya. While crossing of the bridge keep in the left lane. As you leave the bridge turn left and then immediately right, into a big square, Piazza Constituente. Continue around the right of the square and up Via Biancheri. NB do not go through the tunnel! After about 400 meters take the access ramp (Salita Colla) on your right after about 100 meters, at the top of the ramp you will be in front of Porta Nuova, one of the arched entrances to the historic centre. You can park in the parking area that you will find to your left before the entrance, or continue by car to unload your luggage and then park beyond Porta Nizza. About 50 meters inside Porta Nuova, you will see the very beautiful Cathedral on your right and Via Garibaldi to your left. We are at number 24, after about hundred meters, immediately after the 17thC Oratory of the Black Confraternity You go up to the third floor, door on the right.
