Hotel Vodno
It is possible to reach the highly visible Millenium Cross at the summit in less than three hours' walking from Macedonia Square. The only tricky bit is finding the start of the trail (red/yellow blazes) on Salvador Allende Street - from there it's a straightforward uphill slog to the Hotel Vodno halfway up (you could make things easier on yourself by taking a vehicle to the hotel car park). From the hotel a number of marked and unmarked trails go to the summit; there is a mountain hut beside the Meccano-like cross at the summit. As well as the expected views over the city, there is a panorama of a much more rural landscape to the south, leading the eye to Mount Kitka and the even higher peaks of Central Macedonia.
Hotel Vodno offers hospitality to its guests with well trained staff and at the disposal of visitors are meeting facilities too.
Hotel Vodno is owned and operated by AD"Makedonijaturist" Skopje. Hotel is located in the very core of the Vodno Mountain near Skopje, at a height of 700 meters above sea level, and at a distance of only 4,5km from the city center this idyllic hotel offers accommodation, leisure, recreation, relaxation facilities as well as a pleasant view over Skopje and the Skopje valley, it offers a lot of climatic possibilities characteristic for the most famous air spas worldwide.
The Hotel rooms are comfortable and furnished with modern equipment; there are also 2 Meeting Rooms. A breakfast is standard buffet but with good cup of coffee. All other additional facilities of the Hotel would satisfy even the most demanding guests' needs and requirements.
