Youth Hostel Spasic-Masera Kotor
The Youth Hostel Spasic-Masera is situated in the small place called Dobrota, a kilometer from the old town Kotor, and only 150 m from the coast. The hostel experience is enriched with sporting activities and includes half board or full board accommodation, an air-conditioned restaurant, excursions and boat tours. We offer rooms with two or three beds and shared or private bathrooms. The hostel has 250 beds in total.
In the hostel we have a cafeteria with a terrace providing self-service meals. We also organize a great variety of programmes, such as boat trips to the Island, bus excursions to many beautiful places in Montenegro, rafting on the river Tara, a variety sports activities and cultural visits, bus transfers to many beautiful beaches near Kotor and many more.
Summer in the Kotor Bay is exciting not just for it's unique Mediterranean setting, but also for festivities which include the international fashion show in the historic town square; Boka nights with decorated boats, illumination and fireworks, Summer International Carnival; Theatre and Music Festivals held on unique stone stages; and a sail boat regatta plus many more attractions. Unique to the area is the traditional ritual procession of boats called fašinada where rocks are thrown into the sea to fortify the small island of Perast. July and August are the months when students return home, opening the hostel’s doors to visitors and young travelers. Night life is especially exciting, buzzing with life on the narrow cobble-stoned streets, in front of aristocratic palaces of Old Town, coupled with friendly atmosphere, music and disco until early morning hours.
