The hostel is partly located in a monumental chalet building from which you have a stunning view over the Vondelpark when you are enjoying breakfast. Here you will find also our Brasserie BITE & DRINK, a cool place for a cold drink and a hot meal! We have 536 beds divided over 2, 4, 6-8 bedded rooms and some large dormitories. All rooms have shower, toilet and washbasin and free individual lockers (bring your own padlock or buy one at reception). Other facilities include a game room, meeting rooms, lobby area, high speed internet facilities, free Wi-Fi, a laundrette, bike shelter, bike rental, tourist info and discount tickets, electronic door locks, lockers and safes. Our reception is open 24/7, we have no curfew.
Rates include bed linen, breakfast, taxes and free Wi-Fi. Towels and padlocks for the luggage lockers can be bought at the desk (or you can bring your own of course). Hostelling International & Stayokay members receive a discount of EUR 2,50 per night and 10% discount on all food & drinks in our bar. You can buy a Stayokay membership card at the reception for EUR 17.50 or if you are under 27 years for only EUR 15 to take advantage of these and a lot more discounts worldwide!
In our lively bar BITE & DRINK with sports on TV and good music you’ll meet lots of people. We serve hearty and healthy food at great prices, a daily Happy Hour and the cheapest beer in town! And of course a 10% discount for all HI / Stayokay members!
In our restaurant with a great view over the Vondelpark we serve a buffet style breakfast from 7.30 am till 10 am with organic bread, large selection of hot drinks such as cappuccino and cafe latte and fresh fruits, cheeses, yogurt and cereals.
At the reception you can buy tickets for several things to do in Amsterdam (Museums, Canal tour, Heineken Experience, Madame Tussauds) with big discounts. We have a free walking tour (daily pick up in the hostel) , a free detailed map of Amsterdam and our own bike rental.
Check in starts at 7.30 AM, our rooms are available from 2 PM (you can store your luggage in a locker for a small fee).

- that any group bookings of 10 people or more must be made directly with the hostel.
- that we have a maximum stay of 7 nights
- that guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
- that if there are children younger than 16 years part of the guests you are required to book a private room.
