Truelove Antique & Guesthouse

We require your travel itinerary (flight number and airline code, train number, departure city and arrival time here in Amsterdam) this is to insure you that someone is here to check you in upon arrival as we are not always in the house. We arrange our schedules around arrival time of guests. No check in after midnight unless prior arranged. If you take the train from the airport to Amsterdam central station. Costs approx. 4 Euro per person. This one departs from Schiphol every 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Amsterdam you can either walk to the guesthouse which takes 7 minutes (see directions underneath). If you decide to take a taxi from the airport or central station take a TCA BLOKBAND taxi to avoid being overcharged and driven all over the city. The cost of a taxi from the airport is about 50 to 55 euros and from central station approx. 10 euro. You must tell the taxi driver from the airport to go via Rozengracht/ Keizersgracht and for drivers from central station via Brouwersgracht/Keizersgracht and than take the 1st right into the Prinsenstraat.
To walk to the house: Going out of the station to your right and walk till you see the 1st canal on your left which is the Singel Canal. Go onto this one and walk till you see the 1st small canal called Blauwburgwal on your right. Go into this one and walk straight on into the Herenstraat and than Prinsenstraat. Will just take 7 minutes
