Slieve Gullion Lodge
Slieve Gullion Lodge is situated at the foot of the beautiful Slieve Gullion Mountain in Mullaghbane, rural South Armagh.
The Lodge is part of the Tí Chulainn Cultural & Events centre, and it is managed by a local community 'not for profit' group.
This tranquil setting is easily accessible from main roads, yet provides the visitor with access to an area officially marked as 'An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. All the attractions of South Armagh and North Louth are right on our doorstep.
Slieve Gullion Lodge offers Hotel Style accommodation at Hostel prices. All rooms are en-suite and on the ground floor, and there is a communal reading and TV room for your enjoyment. All linen and towels are included.
Our room layout means we can cater for couples, families and groups - and provide everything you need to enjoy the locality.
Guests can choose the self catering option or let us know and we can provide all meals and packed lunches, and we can tailor these to your dietary needs. There is a cosy bar on site, which can be made available to groups as needed, and local country pubs, shops, and take aways are a short stroll away.
Local attractions include hiking, cycling, angling, horse riding, golf, spas, karting, greyhound and horse racing - along with spectacular scenery. The area is steeped in Irish mythical, historical, political, and cultural history and a number of tours available on request.
