Amazigh Aljezur is the newest Hostel in the Algarve and is the only Hostel located within the famous South West Algarve Coast Natural Park, famous for its unspoiled nature, un crowded beaches, sunny skies and sublime fresh fish. The area also attracts surfers (beginners and advanced) from all over the world due to the magnificent conditions to sport practice. The hostel offers a wide range of activities: trekking to biking and exclusive surf lessons available at special discount prices. Aljezur is a traditional Portuguese village faithful to its origins, very popular among surfers given its’ unique proximity to the most popular beaches of the region, such as Arrifana, Amoreira and Montes Clérigos with its magnificent cliffs, white sands and blue waves. From Surfers, to hikers, to bikers, to nature lovers, you will find a wide range of travelers, who travel searching for unique nature and adventures that came to love this special relaxing atmosphere and the lush green surroundings, and that is why we call it Amazigh that means 'free people', that comes from Berber people, who were indigenous people from North Africa, known for their nomad lifestyle.
