- Leaving the airport you will find a roundabout. You have to turn on the 1st exit and follow the way to Faro via Route N125-10;
- At the roundabout entering in Faro follow the 3rd exit to Calouste Gulbenkian Avenue;
- Follow straight ahead to a roundabout and turn on the 2nd exit to Penha Road, passing by São Luís Football Stadium on your right side;
- Turn to your left side in direction to Ataíde de Oliveira Street and than immediately to your right to São Luís Street (one-way road);
- After the traffic lights follow straight ahead to Cruz das Mestras Street;
- Turn to your left side on the 1st intersection and go straight ahead. You will pass by Lethes Theatre, left sided;
- Follow straight ahead and you will reach Portugal Street, about 100 meters from the hotel.
Directions from A22 – Via do Infante Highway to Hotel Santa Maria (set about 11,7 km):
- Leave the highway on the Exit 13 (Faro Oeste) and follow straight ahead in direction to Faro;
- At the roundabout entering in Faro follow the 3rd exit to Calouste Gulbenkian Avenue;
- Follow straight ahead to a roundabout and turn on the 2nd exit to Penha Road, passing by São Luís Football Stadium on your right side;
- Turn to your left side in direction to Ataíde de Oliveira Street and than immediately to your right to São Luís Street (one-way road);
- After the traffic lights follow straight ahead to Cruz das Mestras Street;
- Turn to your left side on the 1st intersection and go straight ahead. You will pass by Lethes Theatre, left sided;

Directions by foot from Faro Train and Bus Stations to Hotel Santa Maria (set about 1 km and 700 meters, respectively):
- Follow in direction to marina;
- Across the street from the marina, you will find a pedestrian and commercial street free of traffic, named Rua de Santo António, passing by the bank building Banco Caixa Geral de Depósitos on your right side;
- Walk straight ahead until the end of this street, where you will find an underground car parking, in Largo da Pontinha Street;
- Turn to your left side and about 50 meters you will find the hotel.
