You may have heard about Lisbon’s special light. The Elevator Hostel is the case in point, with a wealth of windows offering different angles of the city, it is all about light.
In a century old building that has been totally redone last year, we offer a number of comfy cosy areas for your benefit. The ground floor lounge, at street level, the top floor lounge with its long awesome balcony where breakfast and dinner are served, the attic mezzanine where even the height of the room suggests you should lay down and relax…
Accommodation was thought to suit different expectations. There are doubles and twins (also ensuite) and shared six and eight bedded rooms.
Every bed is at least 200 cm long, every light bulb is an energy efficient LED, every drop of hot water comes from the solar panels, every (shared room) bed has its locker, its reading light, power pod and USB charger. There are plenty of hooks and hangers and neat coffee bean sack puffs for you to relax on the beautiful original wooden floor board.
You get keycard access to both front door and your room, bed linen is provided free of charge and so is an extended hours breakfast. There is wi-fi throughout the building and the communal kitchen is open 24H. All set in an ambiance that is quintessentially Lisbon.
The staff is young multilingual, friendly dedicated and knowledgeable, as you’ll be able to confirm it yourself.
