Given its location in Lisbon, the Altis Hotel will forever be associated with the contemporary history of the country, which is normally a platform for major media events. Featuring 300 Rooms (including 12 suites) and 18 Meeting Rooms that are able to accommodate from 8 to 750 people. Hotel Altis has just completed in 2011 the first phase of its largest renovation ever. 200 rooms and the entrance lobby have been completely renovated, including now a new bar - Lobby Bar. The project includes the creation of a more modern, sophisticated and modern ambience in the rooms with new furniture in ebony and stainless steel. In the halls some original materials such as stainless steel and brass were restored, the woods were darkened and new carpets were designed. In the entrance lobby, the reception desk was repositioned in the main front wall and framed by black lacquer. In the old reception area there’s a new seating area and the Lobby Bar in shades of gold and black. At the Altis Hotel Lisbon there is a Health Club with a heated indoor pool, sauna, Turkish bath, fitness room and massage service. The building and interior design as well as contemporary artworks by Portuguese artists are on display throughout the hotel creating a timeless atmosphere and personality that you will always remember.
