Andarilho Oporto Hostel
We are a group of friends and colleagues that will welcome you in a friendly environment where you will not treated not as strangers, but rather as people who bring something special to the hostel and we offer a great service back to you, as much culturally and socially, ready to help you 24 hours a day.
We will try to include you in the true essence of the city, the 'real' Porto, with the intricacies of the 'underground' movements that northern Portugal have to offer, whether it be trance parties or traditional religious festivals. We strive to avoid the tendency of many tourism sites in European cities, influencing urbanism in a negative way.
The meaning of 'Andarilho' in Portuguese is a person who travels from place to place with no fixed abode and was very common in medieval times.
We are located 10 minutes away from the railway station and bus station, 5 minutes from the subway with a direct connection to the airport and also we are next to some of the main monuments. Access to the main door and the dormitories is via code only so there is no need for keys, ensuring maximum security of the building for your convenience.
