Oporto Poets Hostel Rua dos Caldeireiros, 261 Porto, Portugal 4050 DirectionsBy Train:
There are 2 train stations in Porto, São Bento and Campanhã. Campanhã is the main train station, but with the same ticket you can go out in São Bento. When arriving in Campanhã (from Lisbon, Coimbra, etc.), make sure your train ends in São Bento Train Station. Otherwise, from CAMPANHÂ you will have to change to another line (normally line nr.2 in CAMPANHÃ Train Station) to get to São Bento Train Station. Go out in São Bento Train Station, cross the street opposite the station, go right and turn left on the first corner. You will see on your right our main square, 'Aliados' (Praça da Liberdade). Go straight up the 'Rua dos Clérigos', with the church up on the top. A bit after this street becomes 'Rua da Asunção'. Right after 'Rua da Assunção' ends, after the church - Torre dos Clérigos - , turn left, walk forward and then our street it´s the 2nd on the left: Rua dos Caldeireiros. Then our house is the number 261 on your right.
By Bus:
Most of the buses that are coming from Lisbon or main cities stop at the garden João Chagas(Cordoaria), the big garden. From there you can see the big church, 'Torre dos Clerigos', the main Porto symbol. Go straight to the tower, cross the garden, and the street on your right with the trafic lights and with the crosswalk. After crossing the street, walk straight to the last street on the left, Rua dos Caldeireiros, our street. Then our house is the number 261 on your right.
By Metro:
Arriving from the airport, you will have to take the Line E (Purple line). In 'Trindade' change to 'D' line (Yellow line, direction João de Deus), and go out 2 stops after, in 'São Bento' metro station. Then take the same directions as for train. Notice that the Trindade Metro Station is not far from the Hostel, but it will be more confortable if you take our recommendations. Follow the same instructions 'By Train'.
When getting the metro or the bus, you have to know that first you have to buy one general ticket, called 'Andante', and recharge it after with how many trips you want. You have instructions in english. Javascript is required to view this map.

Please note that the 1st night of your stay will be charged in case of No-Show.
If you cancel your reservation after 12pm the day before, 50% of the 1st night will be charged. On the same day, we will charge the 1st night and 50% of the 2nd night.
