From the Airport (Banaeasa or Otopeni): Take the Express bus no 783 to Unirii Square, last stop. Make sure that you get off at the last stop; Unirii Square has 2 stops. When you get off from the 783 bus, walk to your right for about 200 meters to Bibescu Voda Street. Walk straight until you get to Calea Serban Voda Street and keep walking until you find Principatele Unite Street on your right. Going on Principatele Unite, our street is the third on your left, Olimpului Street. You will find us at no 13, a black and yellow gate. Come in and enjoy! As you have to walk some small streets to reach our hostel, we recommend that you print out a map, which you will find through the pictures. From the Train station (Gara de Nord) : Go to 'Gara de Nord 1' subway station and get on the Yellow Line going to Pantelimon. At the 7th stop get off the train at Unirii Square (Piata Unirii) and take a right and get out of the subway station. As you're walking up the stairs to get out, keep walking straight and take the first right. This short street will take you to Serban Voda Street,take left on Serban Voda Street and walk in the direction of the big church. When you pass the church, take the first right, Principatele Unite Street and then the third on your left, Olimpului Street.You will find us at no 13, a black and yellow gate. Come in and enjoy! Both Gara de Nord and the Airport are the main target for tourist scams and con taxis. Please be careful and do not take the first taxi that invites you. A normal fare from Gara de Nord is 15 lei maximum ( about 3.5 euro ) and from the Henri Coanda Airport (OTP) is 45 lei maximum ( 10 euro ). The Airport has 2 offices for calling a cab, they're right next to the checkout area, ask for a cheap taxi, it will be there right away. There's also the Airport bus, no 783, which runs also at night, leaves Departures every 40 minutes during the night and every 15 minutes during the day. The train station has some honest taxi drivers too, but you'd have to look around a bit. Most of the honest taxis have the price written on the door, which is maximum 1.4 lei/km. When you find these kind of cabs, ask or tell them you'll pay maximum 15 lei to get you to Olimpului Street. The best way to get here during the day is using the metro, but if you arrive during the night there's bus no N117 that leaves you at Piata Unirii, passing Gara de Nord every 40 minutes. The bus stop is on Grivita Street.
