Loch Ossian Hostel
This is ideal walking country with plenty of low and high level routes including some fine Munros and Corbetts. The hostel can be reached only on foot or from the Glasgow-Fort William train line (1 mile). It’s also a haven for wildlife lovers and operates some of the most up to date environmental science including wind and solar power, grey water and dry toilet systems and even bat friendly paint! Bed linen is not supplied (please bring your own sleeping bag). Please be environmentally aware and take your litter to the nearest place with proper rubbish collection. Walkers are requested to use footpaths during the stalking season from August to October.
**Please note: Visitors are requested to bring their own bed linen. (Pillows and blankets are provided.) Hostel is closed between 11am and 5pm, and is entirely self catering. Cooking is by 2 gas hobs and ovens. There is no microwave or fridge. All rubbish must be carried out of the estate. **
