Summer Hostels is the premiere destination for fun, affordable accommodations during the Festival. We have three buildings in downtown Edinburgh - check out our Facebook page for photographs and discounts to see which location is right for you! Nestled in the beautiful neighborhood of Canonmills, Beaverbank offers clean rooms filled with natural light and stylish furnishings. It is a 10-minute walk from the east end of Prince Street and a 25-minute walk from Edinburgh Castle. There is a free shuttle service every hour from 11am to 10pm to George Square (the center of the festival). For those travelling by car, parking is available in an indoor garage for £5 a day. All of the rooms are ensuite (private bathroom for each room) with 3/4 double beds and electronic door locks. Each flat has a fully stocked gourmet kitchen and a large living room. Building amenities include a public roof terrace, coin-operated laundry, and bicycle storage. Free internet is available in each room, but please note that it is wired (ethernet cords are provided). We have 24-hour reception, but please notify us in advance if you have a late check-in after 10pm. Reservations can be adjusted or cancelled without penalty 7 days prior to your check-in date. Please note that no changes can be made within 7 days of your check-in date, as you will be responsible for the full cost of the reservation. Linens are provided free of charge, and towel rentals are available for £5. Storage lockers are available for free, but please remember to bring your own lock.
