DESCRIPTION Summer Hostels is the premiere destination for fun, affordable accommodations during the Festival. We have three buildings in downtown Edinburgh - check out our Facebook page for photographs and discounts to see which location is right for you! Nestled in the beautiful neighborhood of Old Town in the heart of downtown Edinburgh, Cowgate is in the middle of it all. You’ll never be more than 5 minutes walking distance to wherever you’d like to go. The building is a short walk from Waverly Station and right in the middle of all the pubs, restaurants, and boutiques. Stylishly furnished with modern finishings, all of the room options are ensuite (private bathroom for each room). There are rooms with single beds for one person and 3/4 double beds for 2 people. Each flat has free internet (by ethernet; not compatible with wireless devices), a fully stocked gourmet kitchen, and a spacious living & dining area with a flat screen TV. The building has an elevator, 24-hour reception, bike storage, coin-operated laundry facilities, and a 11am check-out time. Check-out time is 11am. We have 24-hour reception, but please notify us in advance if you have a late check-in after 10pm. Reservations can be adjusted or cancelled without penalty 7 days prior to your check-in date. Please note that no changes can be made within 7 days of your check-in date, as you will be responsible for the full cost of the reservation. Linens are provided free of charge, and towel rentals are available for £5. Storage lockers are available for free, but please remember to bring your own lock. Cowgate is open from July 4th to August 31st. ROOM OPTIONS The building is open from July 4th to August 31st this summer. All bedrooms are en suite, with a private bathroom containing a shower (no bath), sink, and toilet. - Penthouse: a private, luxury 1-bed flat w/ private bathroom - Studio: a private 1-bed flat with a private bathroom - private bedroom (single): for 1 person, w/ private bathroom - private bedroom (double): for 2 people, w/ private bathroom - 4-bedroom flat: private flat w/ 4 bedrooms for up to 8 guests - 6-bedroom flat: private flat w/ 6 bedrooms for up to 12 guests
