DESCRIPTION Summer Hostels is the premiere destination for fun, affordable accommodations during the Festival. We have three buildings in downtown Edinburgh - check out our Facebook page for photographs and discounts to see which location is right for you! The best of the 3 Summer Hostels locations, Meadowcourt is nestled in the middle of downtown Edinburgh in the neighborhood of Marchmont. Just a 5 minute walk from George Square & the University of Edinburgh, you’ll be right in the middle of all the bars & restaurants. You couldn’t ask for a more convenient location for seeing the city of Edinburgh and experiencing the summer of a lifetime. Get ready for plenty of our summer festival parties in the outdoor courtyard, as you’ll have the opportunity to meet students and young travellers from all over the world. Meadowcourt offers individual rooms as well as private flats & cottages. There are rooms with single beds for one person and 3/4 double beds for 2 people. Each flat has free wireless internet (unfortunately, we cannot guarantee compatibility with all wireless devices), coin-operated laundry facilities, kitchen, and common living room where you’ll have a chance to mingle with the other festival-goers. For those travelling by car, parking is available for £10 a day. Check-out time is 11am. We have 24-hour reception, but please notify us in advance if you have a late check-in after 10pm. Reservations can be adjusted or cancelled without penalty 7 days prior to your check-in date. Please note that no changes can be made within 7 days of your check-in date, as you will be responsible for the full cost of the reservation. Linens are provided free of charge, and towel rentals are available for £5. Storage lockers are available for free, but please remember to bring your own lock. Private flats have 1 or 2 bathrooms each; private bedrooms share bathrooms with other rooms in the flat. All bathrooms have bath with shower head, sink, and toilet. - private bedroom (single): for 1 person, w/ shared bathroom - private bedroom (double): for 2 people, w/ shared bathroom - 4-bedroom flat: private flat w/ 4 bedrooms for up to 8 guests - 5-bedroom flat: private flat w/ 5 bedrooms for up to 10 guests - 6-bedroom flat: private flat w/ 6 bedrooms for up to 12 guests
