Overlooking Broadford Bay, the hostel provides easy access to all areas of Skye, with coastal walks close by and the famous Cuillin mountain range only 15 miles from the hostel. Bathroom facilities for dormitories and private rooms are shared and can be found close to the bedrooms. Wi-Fi, laundry facilities and retail items including food options are available (chargeable). Continental breakfast in buffet form can be booked, as well as packed lunches to take away. The communal kitchen and lounge area is the meeting point for likeminded travellers from all over the world. Broadford village is less than a 10 minutes' walk from the hostel and offers restaurants, shopping facilities as well as a 24h fuel station. If you only have one day on Skye the boat trips leaving Elgol, 15 miles from Broadford, will take you right into the heart of the Cuillin mountains and you have a chance to see wildlife within spectacular scenery - a great day out!
