In winter there are many things to do in Zdiar including skiing and cross-country skiing. There are about 20 ski lifts and 2 chairlifts in our village. If you want to feel really romantic you can take a sleigh tour along fabulous countryside covered with snow! Culture: The village of Zdiar is one of the important cultural and natural gems in Slovakia. People today still admire the Goral architecture. Zdiar has been declared a "relic reservation of folk architecture.” The best example is the style of the restaurant and museum Zdiar house (Zdiarsky dom.) Every year in summer we have a popular folklore festival, you will be able to see all the folk groups together from Slovakia and Poland and enjoy a Goral feast!!
