Trencin is home to the best festival in central Europe: Pohoda Festival. It also has the prettiest castle in Slovakia and one of the nicest in Europe (you can enjoy the view from our great terrace while having a great BBQ). Nearby are a dozen other castles and ruins as well as spa resorts, thermal-water parks, and beautiful nature that you can explore. Our staffs organize pub-crawls, events, hikes and day trips. We offer a bike rental so that you get to know the area, the surrounding hills and the typical east European village. Our hostel has free Wi-Fi and a guest kitchen, which is available 24/7. When you are expecting late arrival or early check-out let us know at least 24-hour upon arrival, because the reception is officially open from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. But have no fear there is always someone present, who will take care of you anytime you need. Also keep in mind, the hostel is on the 3rd floor, but we have a fairly reliable elevator in the building, magical like Narnia.
