By Plane:
The international airport of Ljubljana-Brnik is around 30km from the complex; many low cost airlines fly directly to the airport from all over Europe. From the airport guests can take a taxi or hire a car and follow the instructions below for driving directions, the journey will take around 20 minutes. You can also take a shuttle bus the main central station in Ljubljana, they run about every hour from there you can take a train, follow as below. ALPETOUR or JP Ljubljanski potniški promet services run the shuttle services.
By Train:
Connections abroad are excellent: you can come to Slovenia on direct lines from Italy, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Yugoslavia and Macedonia. If you want to reach it from Ljubljana airport you must go to Ljubljana central train station. From there you can catch hourly trains run by LP mainly to Logatec; it will take around 40 mins. The nearest train station is Železniška postaja Logatec but it is about 3km away from GRC Zapolje, from there guests should take a taxi as there is no bus that leaves from the station and it is a very long distance to go by foot. Otherwise, guest can arrange a pick up with the hotel.
By Car:
Via highway from capital Ljubljana (30 km, 19 min) take Highway (HW) ring in the direction of Postojna HW Ljubljana - Koper (Highway name: A1), from there follow the HW in Vrhnika, then continue on Tržaška road (409), direction Postojna, 2 km before Logatec there is an intersection with industrial zone Zapolje (IOC zapolje), here turn left and on the next intersection turn left again. Around 300 metres ahead there is the building and two parking areas, one in front and the other behind the building, this is where the hotel is.

‘GRC Zapolje’ is a restaurant and recreation centre. We are located in the IOC zone Zapolje (industrial zone) in Logatec.
GRC Logatec offers you:
Overnight accommodations in pleasant apartments or in a hostel, tourist information centre, free access of internet, wireless in some of the rooms, swimming pool with whirlpool (closed from 20th of July to 20th of August 2008!), tennis playgrounds, badminton, table tennis, fitness centre, massage saloon and three different kinds of saunas! For the hungry travellers we have a bar, restaurant and the Pizzeria Logatcanka, last but not least we also have a wine cellar!

Turist tax is excluded (0,92 Eur for adults and 0,46 Eur for children, per person per day).
For bigger (max 20 people) organised groups we offer special packages for hiking or cycling and exploring the beautiful Karst nearby. In the center we also offer bike rental.
We offer additional discounts to all chiefs of organised groups, truck drivers and guides; there is also a large parking space ready for cars, trucks and buses!
There is a carting circuit nearby our complex. In the surroundings there are a lot of interesting sights to be seen. Just a walk to....for example the Napoleon's lime trees, cycling, horse riding, war museums, the remains of an old roman fortification, the native house of one of our great writers ‘Cankar.’ Then there is the Logatec cave, the Postojna cave, the natural park ‘Rakov Škocjan,’ and the karst wonder Lake Cerknica! We are just 15min from the capital city of Slovenia, Ljubjana!
