METRO The Hotel Praktik Metropol is just in front of the Gran Vía underground station, where two Madrid underground lines meet: LINE 1 (Pinar de Chamartín - Valdecarros) and LINE 5 (Alameda de Osuna - Casa de Campo): The underground service is from 6 AM to 2 AM. FROM THE AIRPORT RAILWAY-CERCANIAS RENFE: From Terminal 4 at Barajas Airport, you can take the Line C1, until Atocha Station. From Atocha take the metro Line 1, until you arrive to Gran Vía metro Station, located in front the hotel UNDERGROUND (METRO): From the Barajas airport you can take underground Line 8 from Terminal 2 or Terminal 4 towards the Nuevos Ministerios stop. Once you reach the end of the line (Nuevos Ministerios station), change to Line 10 travelling towards Puerta del Sur and change trains again at the Alonso Martínez station. At Alonso Martínez, change to Line 5 towards Casa de Campo, and get off at the Gran Vía station. The hotel is directly in front of the underground stop. The route from the airport to the Hotel Praktik Metropol takes 39 minutes and costs €1 per person. TAXI:The drive from the airport to the city centre takes about 30 minutes. The Radio Taxi Madrid cab company accepts all credit cards and takes reservations. FROM THE ATOCHA RAILWAY STATION UNDERGROUND (METRO): To reach the Hotel Praktik Metropol from the la Atocha station you need to take underground Line 1 (towards Pinar de Chamartín) and get off at the Gran Vía station. The journey takes 10 minutes and costs € 1,50 per person.
