The Guilleumes Hostel provides friendly accommodation at the base of the Montserrat mountain. At only 50 min from Barcelona, it is the ideal location from which to visit the basilica of Montserrat, for hiking and exploring the narrow streets of Monistrols.
Everyone visiting Barcelona should take at least a day to visit Montserrat. Our hostel is easily reachable from Barcelona by train, bus and car. And it is at only 15 minutes from the basilica of Montserrat. Also we are in the town were the famous "cremallera the Montserrat" (the rack railway) starts its journey through the original mountain rail road.
The hostal Guilleumes opened three years ago, and we are enjoying welcoming guest from all over the world. We like to take care of the needs of our guests and that's why we provide information, trail maps, climbing routes, visiting information so everyone can get the most out of the area.
We also have a bar and restaurant where you can have breakfast, lunch, dinner or simply have an espresso or a beer. We have a variety of home made dishes every day.
