Open since 2000, Urban House Hostel is spread out across three different locations (LOLO, PLAZA GIPUZKOA, PRIVATE), which are located 2 minutes from one another. Our buildings will make you feel at home with their lovely rooms, quaint kitchens, room to relax and an ultra laid back, friendly and multilingual staff. Also, as our staff lives on the floors, our care and attention to your needs are above and beyond! LOLO The first Urban House to open, back in the summer of 2001. An alternative, small hostel consisting of just 5 rooms, Lolo has a unique homely and intimate feel to it. Spend your time with us and in the company of fellow travelers sitting around the dining table talking with friends, relaxing, listening to music, making plans for the next day and finding a variety of ways to maximize the quality of your stay. This location is at the edge of the old town overlooking the impressive Town Hall. You are just a few steps from the pintxos bars and buzzing nightlife of San Sebastián whilst still being protected from the noise at night. It is 100m to the main beach, La Concha, less than 5 minutes from the surf beach, Zurriola, yet still offers a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Plaza Gipuzkoa Plaza Gipuzkoa is where the majority of our beds are located. Overlooking the picturesque Plaza de Gipuzkoa, over the past few years this has become the Hub of Urban House Hostels, the activities meeting point and our central office. If you love to party and meet a variety of like-minded people, this is the place for you. Plaza de Gipuzkoa 2 is always buzzing with life. Whether sitting down to have free breakfast, making use of our computer room, renting bikes, boards and beach games or heading out for a fun night, the vibe here is lively and exciting! At Gipuzkoa Urban House, you will have a great view of Gipuzkoa Square and the Province Government Building. La Concha Beach and Zurriola Beach are just 100 meters away and getting to the old part of the city is just a one block, two minute walk. Overlooking Guipuzcoa Square, just across the street from Lolo, on the other side of the Boulevard, are situated our 2 largest floors. Each room has a terrace with nice views. Private Rooms Looking for a more private, secluded place to stay during your visit to San Sebastian? Urban House offers private rooms as well which are perfect for this kind of traveler. For those looking to stay in a place with a cozy, quaint apartment feel to it, we offer the option to book either an individual room or share a private one with a friend or partner, with a choice between either two single beds or one double bed. From it’s convenient location, you can branch out and explore the city, while never straying further than a few minutes from your room. At the end of the day, you can kick back, escape from the chaos of the city around you and get a good night’s sleep to prepare you for the next day's adventure.
