DirectionsBy bus from south airport: There are 5 direct buses daily to Puerto de la Cruz (Nr.340) or about every 40 min. first to Santa Cruz(Nr.341) and then either 107 or 108 or 101(slow) to La Orotava. Another option is to take 102 or 103 from Santa Cruz to Puerto de la Cruz and then 350,101 to La Orotava. Make sure to buy a "Bono Bus" Ticket- that gives you a big discount on bus rides - ask at Info-desk (Ticket is not available from Bus-Driver)

Bus from North Airport: Bus Nr. 107 or 108 directly to La Orotava, or Bus 102 first to Puerto de la Cruz, and then 350,101 to La Orotava.

By car: Take Exit 33 La Orotava - El Teide, follow the road up through La Orotavafor about 1,5 km(this is the road that goes up to El Teide National Park) - at the upper end of town you come to a roundabout with a fountain in the middle, here you go straight following the sign "Los Realejos, San Antonio) - follow this road for about 400m until reaching a narrow one way street - take first left (Calle San Juan) and immediately first right. The 100 year old Canarian town house lies in the historic centre of La Orotava, the islands most interesting and beautiful town.
The hostel has 1 private double room, 2 private twin rooms, 2 dormitories (4 beds female, 4 beds mixed) and one private single room(interior window). You have access to the roof terrace, a patio, the community kitchen (Supermarket next door), and a reading/TV-room. Enjoy typical Canarian cooking and wine at one of the neighbourhood’s bars and restaurants at very reasonable prices.
Even though away from the hustle and bustle of nearby Puerto de La Cruz (Public bus leaves right from the Hostel every 30 min.), it is only a small trip to its beaches(7 km) including the famous surf spot "Playa del Socorro".
The host, a friendly Austrian, who works as a hiking-guide (special rates for Hostel Clients), will be happy to provide all the help and information you want for your time on the island . The entire hostel can be rented on a weekly base also. (Sleeps up to 17)
NOTE: The two twin-rooms can be changed into Triple rooms(Book Twin-Room and pay extra bed on arrival-12€)
