The Tent Village

From the Train Station: Get off at Interlaken West train station and take the bus number 105 getting off at the stop 'Oberland Park Shopping Centre' and you will be directly in front of The Tent Village. If you want to walk from Interlaken West it will take approximately 25 mins depending on how fast you walk. Turn left from the train station and follows the street and turn right at the second traffic circle. Follow this street and the signs for Balmer's herberge. At Balmer's, follow the street for 800m to The Tent Village. Arriving by Car: From the highway coming from either Bern or Lucern, take the exit 'Wilderswil'. From Bern direction turn left and the you will find the Tent Village 100m from the exit. Coming from Lucern/Meiringen direction turn right after the exit. Landing with paraglide or skydiving: locate The Tent Village on map or from the take of place first. When in the air, fly with enough height close to the old airfield. The landing next to the Tents is a good place to land when the conditions are suitable. Check the flags at the front of the property for wind direction and keep in mind rotor wind from the hill (Klein Rugen) behind the Tent Village.
