Bad Serneus hotel is located in the Serneus village by the marvelous valley of the river Landquart, near the popular mountain resorts of Klosters and Dav?s. The hotel is just 1000 meters above sea-level, which makes it most suitable for people who might have problems getting used to the high grounds.
Bad Serneus owes its fame to a sculpture mineral water spring discovered in the 15th century. Since then the magic water has been used for treating chronic arthritis, rheumatism, skin and nervous diseases.
The river valley provides a natural shelter from winds, the nearby forest attracts those who are fond of leisurely walks in the woods.
Good roads and a large parking lot make the place attractive for tourists traveling by car.
Through the hotel windows you can admire splendid views of the Swiss Alps, the Landquart river valley and Sunniberg Bridge as well as one of the most famous Swiss attractions, a romantic red train, running along the valley.

Our hotel resort, shared in 2 buildings, with 49 comfortable rooms, give 76 guests the possibility to relax in our hotel. All our rooms are equipped with a phone with wake up call service, Sat TV and an individually regulated heating system. The arrangement of our rooms is typically Swiss rustic style.
The rooms are non- smoking. Smoking is permitted in the lounge room.

In the restaurant you can try European and traditional Swiss dishes. The chef offers four dinner menus (35 CHF).Please order in advance for a big group. A wide range of beverages, snacks and home-made pastries are offered in the daytime.
Banquets and family celebrations
Our hotel is an ideal venue for family celebrations, business lunches, banquets and receptions for 30 - 80 guests. A special menu is offered for the occasion.

In season you can enjoy a coffee or lunch or just a little snack outside in our sunny terrace.
Wine -cellar:
In the cellar built 200 years ago two new halls are being arranged. Confidential business meetings and small family celebrations can be held in the smaller hall. The other hall will be big enough for up to 50 visitors to linger over collection wines or take part in wine tasting.
Horse riding:
For those who love horses and animals, enjoy riding! There are activities for both – kids can ride ponies or donkeys, adults – horses. There are several riding schools in our area. There you can learn to ride in a week. Those who already can ride a horse will develop their riding skills and learn horse dressage. Moreover, the riding schools organize 1-3 day trips. The nearest riding school is 1.5 km from our hotel. The price is 30 CHF per hour
Skiing in the Swiss Alps:
In winter time Bad Serneus is an ideal place for skiers: it is situated near the famous 307 km skiing route and two popular skiing resorts - Klosters and Davos. After an active and tense day, get away from the city noise and come here for complete relaxation in the most beautiful nature.
Come by car: we offer a free parking lot.
You can reach the skiing routes by bus: the bus stop is next to the hotel. Those who miss the bus are taken to the routes by the hotel transport – free for our guests.
You can come back by one of the skiing routes that lead straight to the hotel door.
The nearest skiing route is 2 km from the hotel on Madris mountain. There is a day-care-group and skiing schools for both – children and adults. Klosters skiing route is 3.5 km and Davos – 15 km. away.
A special ski room with modern boot drying equipment is available.
After skiing you will find all what you’re tired muscles need: a 34? C sulphurous spring mineral water
swimming pool and bath complex.
Bike rides:
You will get to know Switzerland and its nature better while riding a bike in the villages and mountains. There are 230 km long marked bike routes in the region of Klosters - Davos and Prastigau. Both - beginners and families who like riding - can find a safe route here. There are more difficult paths for those who like extreme sports. The guests of the hotel are supplied with free detailed maps of bike routes. The bike route Klosters- Fideris starts only half a kilometre from the hotel. It is 15,5 km long. If you haven‘t got a bike – it can be rented nearby.
Walks in the Alps
There are 700 km of walking paths around Serneus, thus the guests of Bad Serneus can rest while walking along the paths in spring, summer and autumn admiring the stunning views of Klosters and Serneus.
The walk up in the mountains can start right at the hotel, also new of the paths starts in the hotel area.
There are a lot of walking paths both – up in the mountains and the river valley. The distance to the nearest elevator is 2 km. Wonderful nature, quiet, fresh air and stunning views surround you. You are safe as all paths are marked, much educational information about Swiss flora and fauna is provided. You are also informed about the possibilities to regain strength after stress and tense work.
