DirectionsFROM THE CENTRAL TRAIN STATION:
If you arrive to the train station after the midnight, taxi will be probably your best choice. The normal price to get from there to our hostel is 40 UAH (50 UAH at the most, just to avoid any haggling - they should be happy with that).
If you arrive to the train station before midnight though, you may take the metro. The Vokzal'na metro station is 100 meters to the left from the train station main entrance. Walk in there, buy a token per person, go down the escalator and take the right-hand train direction. Go to the 3rd station from Vokzal'na - the Kreschatik station (that is pass the Universitet station, then Teatral'na and finally step off on the Kreschatik). Once out of the train, turn to the left, go up the escalator and you will come out to the Kreschatik street - the city main street. Cross it, turn to the right and walk ahead for about 5 minutes towards the Independence Square (Maidan Nezalezhnosti). Cross the square underground, leave it behind and walk for another 5 minutes in the direction of a big arch you will see ahead. Keep watching for the number 8 street sign (you can see a photo of it among our hostel profile pictures). Walk through the passage into the inner court, go till the end of it and you will see a door on the right hand. Enter it (there is a code lock on the door but it does not work, so don't worry about it), go up to the 4th floor and you will see a door on the left with the Hostelworld logo - here you are, welcome!
FROM THE BORYSPIL AIRPORT:
There are several ways to get to our hostel from the Boryspil airport. The easiest one - yet the priciest as well, - is on taxi: we can arrange a taxi pickup for you or you can go to the taxi office directly outside the arrivals lounge and there you should be able to get a taxi to our hostel. Our taxi pickup service will cost 200 UAH. This should be also a normal price if you decide to take one of the taxis waiting outside the airport building - you should not let them charge you more.
There is also a shuttle bus service from the airport to the Central Train Station. Those buses leave every 10-15 minutes and cost around 30 UAH (about 3 euros); they run at night as well. Once on the train station, please follow the instructions above.
FROM THE CENTRAL BUS STATION:
Go to the Demiivska metro station (right next to the bus station), take the metro and go to the Maidan Nezalezhnosti station (i.e. Independence Square). Once out of the metro on the Independence Square, please follow the instructions above.

We have no hidden extras - what you book is what you pay!
Our hostel consists of one 10-bed dorm, one private room, a common room, bathroom, toilet and a fully equipped kitchen where guests can prepare their food. In our kitchen we have a fridge, a toaster, a microwave oven, a full set of pans, cups, plates and cutlery.
It is a bright place with big windows in every room. We have air-conditioning and fly-screens in our dorms, so no bug bites while you are sleeping. We have thick comfy mattresses, individual metal lockers for everybody in the dorm. Clean ironed linens and face towels are included in the price.
Our common room has a plasma TV with the US and UK channels, DVD player, movies in English, a PC for those guests that don't have their own laptops, PDAs etc with them.
We also have fire equipment and a First Aid kit.
Our staff are all fluent in English, Russian and Ukrainian are happy to help you practice your language skills.
At our hostel you will have no curfew and no lockout.
There's also free unlimited Wi-Fi and free tea and coffee all day long, plus a washer and dryer so you can do your laundry.
We can arrange tours to Chernobyl (no less than 14 days notice is a must), transfers to and from the airport, AK-47 shooting and BRDM vehicle driving. Just ask us!
If you wish to travel further through Ukraine after your stay with us in Kiev, we can recommend nice and safe hostels in other cities of the country.
Please note that we are NOT a sex-tourist friendly hostel: if you are coming for easy women and cheap booze, you'd better find another place. Stag parties are also not welcome - please choose to stay and party somewhere else.
We have a zero-tolerance policy against bad, drunken behaviour and bad language towards other guests or members of the staff. Any such behaviour will be immediately dealt with and those involved will be asked to leave (with the police assistance, if necessary).
