U.S. PASSPORT FEES (NEW)
Sorry in advance admins, but not sure where to put this so many will see (feel free to move this where ever):
Just a heads up, I went to renew my US Passport today and luckily I got in just before the fee changes.
As of July 13, all the fees will me increasing.
MORE IMPORTANTLY: extra pages will NO LONGER be FREE, instead it will be 83 bucks for extras. Luckily, the chick noticed my book was full and told me to handwrite a letter requesting a larger booklet be sent due to my extensive traveling. So, go to your passport service offices now to add pages NOW.

Planning for the Eurotrip City Guide app
Since this has come up in a couple other threads and I don’t want to hijack their threads, I will do a summary here.
We are currently in the planning process for a new feature that we are currently calling the Eurotrip City Guide or Eurotrip Printable Guide. Basically, it would be a way for you to specify what you plan to do in a city or during a trip and then before you leave on your trip you would print it off and it would serve as a trip specific guide book.
Eurotrip Planner turns 1 year old
The Eurotrip Planner went live just over a year ago now and it has been adopted very quickly. Including both Published and Unpublished trips, you have entered more than 25,000 trips this past year.
How To Use Favorite Places
Hey all.
Mim and I plan to mostly stay out of the way in this forum.
Favorite Places is a busy category and we and all of the regulars here hope to just keep it spam-free and rolling along smoothly.
Here are a few ways to help:

Spains Beaches
So Im planning a solo trip to Spain this summer and was hoping to hit some beaches. Ive heard Spain has a lot of them. I was curious what the best beaches to visit as a solo backpacker would be.
Ive heard Ibiza is great, but really only good for groups of people. San Sebastian is supposedly nice but doesnt have to much going on, and the Andalucia Region in Southern Spain is supposedly pretty nice.
Im looking to swim, surf and do water sports during the day, and would like to go out and meet new people and have a good time at night.
Any help you guys got would go a long way.
Tour Belgium, the Netherlands & Switzerland On Line (Video + Stills)
My movie “Tulips That Yodel” tours Belgium, the Netherlands, (Holland) and Switzerland. Stars include a World War I trench museum, Bruges, the lovely Keukenhof Gardens, Dutch Windmills, Amsterdam (with its canals & a coffee house that sells pot), the mighty Matterhorn, and a great Swiss folklore show making music from “instruments” you may see nowhere else, plus yodeling.
“Tulips That Yodel” can be seen on the web, if you have a high speed internet connection. This is a free, non-commercial, streaming video on the Windows Media Player. No ads and no strings attached.
Winter 2012-2013
Hi! I’m from Argentina and i’m planning a trip to Europe for next nov/dic-jan-feb.
Bringing our kids...
We are planning a Eurotrip with our two children…ages almost 4 and almost 1.5. I’m looking for advice on the best countries to visit that they can also enjoy. Obviously for them that means food, and good weather. We plan to go at the end of may, early june. Here is the list of cities my husband wants to see… Brussels, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Zurich, Rome, Venice, Salzburg, Vienna, Prague, Berlin and Paris.
He thinks we could travel at night and stay one day in each of these places. I feel like we should pick half of them and spend more than one day in each city.
Eastern Europe
Hi, Has anyone got any advice on these places?
Looking at going there in July and August.
Thanks.

Three weeks Eurotrip, cut down cities?
I am planning three weeks trip in May with my girlfriend, visiting:
Fly into Paris – 4 days (daytrip to Versailles)
Brugges – 1 day
Amsterdam – 2 days
Night train to Munich – 3 days (with daytrip to Salzburg or Fussen)
Prague – 3 days
Berlin – 3 days
Fly to London – 4 days
Back to Paris to catch return flight
We think this itinerary is a little bit rushed, isn’t it? Realistically, don’t think it’s doable either (due the travel time between cities and given time of each place).
