Guidebooks

Online guide book

Hello everybody,

I found this website interesting, citynerary.com There is only few itineraries yet, but it could be a goog complement for an eurotrip user, because in this website you can create an itinerary inside a city.

So, take a look on it… or not.

Alejandro.

Wroclaw, Poland

Have you ever been to Wroclaw? This is one of the most magnificent cities in Poland with the amazing Market Square, beautiful parks and unique restaurants and pubs.

People who live here will make your visit unforgetable. If you still hesitate to come here visit this blog Enjoy Wroclaw

It will convince you and help with organizing the trip.

Vice Travel

Okay, this site, the Vice Travel Guide, contains some rather sensational (and cleverly edited) stuff, and the particular video I am posting is VERY graphic at times.
But it’s worth a look.

Rick Steves travel guide vids on Hulu

I just discoverd the Rick Steves channel on Hulu: http://www.hulu.com/… His style is a bit geeky, but he does give interesting and informative 30-minute video primers for many locales across Europe — and some good budget travel tips. The couple of vids I just sampled seem to be updated since the PBS series that was very popular about 10 years ago.

I'm new to guidebooks

I was hoping if someone would tell me which is the best guidebook, user friendly and covers many places. Thanks Wink

Amsterdam in November - Cannabis Cup

OK this is going to be my first time actually going to europe and not just stopping there for a flight connection. My plan is to be in Amsterdam during the cannabis cup in November so im not really going on a Euro trip. but if im going to be in Europe might as well visit another city. My priority is Amsterdam and have a budget of $800 USD to spend in Europe. The length of my trip is 7 days, so basically $114 USD per day. What I need help with is finding a cheap and decent place in amsterdam to stay in.

Let's Go

While I think the best route is to peruse several guidebooks, gleaning the best from all of them, we brought Let’s Go on our recent France trip and it really enhanced our journey.
We used a couple of their recs for lodging, and many of their suggestions for what to visit, and the advice was all spot on.
Our kid criticized LG’s layout, terming it simplistic, almost childish, but when you’re frantically flipping through the pages trying to find a map or some other information, simple works best. He did look at some of the nightlife recs and approve of them.
