Working in Europe
Finding a job in South France
I’d like to travel to South France and find a job there. I’ll have my work visa. but my french is quite limited although I am studying real hard. Also finding a place to live sounds tough for me as I have no idea at all about France. I am super into experiencing country life in France so it’d be awesome if anyone could share any knowledge about finding a job, finding a place to live in countryside in France. Also where would be the best countryside in France ?
Work in hostels
hi everyone, i got a question about working in hostels while travelling.
given that i have no experience at all, what is the best way to find jobs in hostels in exchange of a bed and maybe some food ? Should i try to email some places before, or show up for a few nights, get to know the people/hostel and then ask ?
Do you guys know if such hostel work is only possible to find in high season or that can work in low season also ? (say autumn in central/eastern europe)
ANy advices are more than welcome. Thanks again !
Wanting to travel but not sure how to start
Been planning to travel at least Europe for years but never quite had the guts to do it. Haven’t got a huge amount of money behind me but if I can at least start and get some work while I’m travelling then I should be okay. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on making those first steps out of the front door and how to keep walking…
Any help would really be appreciated
Question about migrating to Europe
Hi
If I now obtain a working holiday visa for Europe, and work in a European country for any period of time within the validity period of the visa, does that mean I won’t be able to migrate to that particular country ever in my life time?
Because I came across a website telling me that european working visas for a country are only issued once in a lifetime. I would just like to know if that means there’s no way I’ll ever be able to migrate and live in that country in the future.
Eg;
I want to live in Italy in the future.
My plan, need suggestions
Hello,
I am a 19 year old Canadian, planning a move to London England with 2 friends. We are currently working and saving money for the move. We have passports, and will be applying for Holiday Working Visas which gives us 2 years to work in England. We will also be setting up bank accounts, national insurance numbers and telephone numbers before we leave.
We plan to arrive with enough money to pay for rent on a flat, and for food and transportation for the first month. We will then look for jobs in restaurants, bars, hotels ect anywhere to get money.
suggestions for work
so a friend and i are planning on going to europe in the end of april. were from canada i know a bit of spanish and french and my friend knows french quite well. however we dont really wanna spend too much time in france. we plan on getting part time jobs, i have done my research and know about the work visa and got that all settled and i have enough money to support myself for one month there and we plan on stayin another 3. wheres a good place for two 18 year old english speaking girls to start off and get a job in europe.
p.s.
American to move to London?
So…
I want to move to London. I love it there and its where I want to spend the rest of my life.
Unfortunately for me, I’m just out of film school, and only have like a year of 1st Camera Assistant’s experience. I’d need a visa obviously to work, but I don’t know if this is possible in any way. I’d probably have to find some other way in than as a filmmaker.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Au Pair Austria
Hi there,
I am seeking help if anyone is willing. I have accepted a job in Austria as an Au Pair and am learning a little basic German, I was wondering if someone could possibly give me an indication of what kind of things they will ask in German at the visa interview? Please help! I want to be prepared!
Thanks a bunch!

Au pair France
Hello!
I am going to Biarritz, France as an au pair in november 16th, i was just wondering if there are any other au pair near Biarritz that would like to meet? It would be very fun getting to know other au pairs (or other people). Please send me a message!
