What Guidebook did you use, if you used any at all?
Hey Guys. When I went for my 4 week Europe trip, I purchased a book called Party Earth-Europe. It is a guide, actually, to different bars, clubs restaurants and others venues around major cities in Europe. The best thing I felt about this guide was that, the reviews are tailored to individual personalities. What happens is, there are 4 characters in the book that have different personalities. For example, When I went to London (almost everybody knows London is outrageously expensive) I followed the recommendations of a character (Emma.
EPPICard - Phishing over, fees raging on
Unemployed Americans seeking to access their state benefits have had a difficult time with the EPPICard debit card system in the past. Designed like an ATM card, EPPICard makes it possible for individuals to withdraw state benefits from ATM machines. Yet numerous difficulties easily emerged with EPPICard. Case in point: one Fayetteville Observer reader using EPPICard found that hidden fees were waiting within the wings.
Location depending networking makes it harder for Facebook to keep away from privacy troubles
Facebook Places gets a new location-based networking program to start working with. This should be great for the social site. Smartphone’s with some GPS can use Facebook Places. Friends can see each other on the program. Facebook Places also lets users tag friends who are with them. Places also makes it possible to find new places you might be interested in. Broadcasting a user’s location has created an additional layer within the Facebook privacy issues debate. Facebook Places gives companies a powerful tool for mobile advertising and search.
Interesting take on Pink Floyd classic
I thought this was pretty cool.
Your screen name
Everyone has a screen name. Sometimes it’s a travel place related pun, or a play on words with your real name. What made you choose the one you use?

I’m going with the Netherlands, 3-2.
Any old Eurotrippers have a contact for Taz?
Howdy to any old Eurotrippers out there> I was wondering if anyone has an email contact for Taz, survivor of a couple of Fests back in the day. If so, my email address hasn’t changed since 1998!
Hi. It's Paula. I'm new here.
Just dropping by to say hello to everyone!
I would like to introduce myself too. I am Paula and I am a bargain traveler. I always seek for ways to bargain and save on expenses when I travel. I really love traveling. It’s my life.
It’s great that I found this forum. I’m enjoying and learning at the same time with the different posts I have already read! Hope to get to interact with all of you.
Have a great day.
Hostel getting in ability?
Not long left untill i’m off to Europe, and i have only pre-booked 1 hostel in Amsterdam, which is the first place we will be visiting. I havn’t bothered booking any hostels in the other city’s were going, as well we know where were going, but just not when we might be getting there. Didn’t want to run our trip on a tight schedule.
getting to the point. I’m wondering how easy or hard is it to just walk into a hostel and get a bed for the night, without booking?
I’m imagining quite hard, as july and august are the busiest months, with lots of fellow travellers.
